"The fact that you even wrote this rant leads me to beleive that you have never been in
a relationship like Paul and Linda's"

True. I have never been so co-dependant on a girl that I have pressured her to drop everything that is her's so she can boost my ego and cater to my every whim.

And I'll say it YET AGAIN....
Paul and Linda could have been together everyday with Linda having to be on stage pretending to be a musician.

I didn't think it was an attack. :-)

Here's another point I forgot to make yesterday. Remember how Paul was so adament about about getting Stu kicked out of the Beatles? Remember his supposed reasoning? Something like "I wanted the band to be very good" and Stu didn't really know how to play. I think this reasoning should have applied to Linda.

"True, but Paul wanted Linda in HIS band, and had every right to put her there, and she had every right to join."

Like I said to a similar response yesterday... just because Paul wanted it didn't mean it was a good idea. I sited other things Paul wanted. Writing and directing "Broad Street", working with Michael Jackson, marrying Heather Mills...etc. Now, putting Linda in every single one of his projects was not as disastrous as those things but it was still a silly idea.

"And honestly, if it sucked so bad, then I don't think Wings would have had the millions of fans that they did"

When I started getting into the Beatles and their solo stuff in High School, I remember watching the Rockshow concert movie and my mom (who was in her 20's in the 70's) walked in, saw Linda and said "Oh God, why did he have to always put her in everything." LOL. I believe that in 70's Linda was disliked by fans almost as much as Yoko. But. like with Yoko, she wasn't disliked because she was Paul's wife but because she obviously had no business being in the music business. Kinda like that Sanjaya guy on American Idol. LOL
